Handmade Stable Doors

A handmade stable door that we have recently installed to a rural property in Northumberland, the property was a beautiful stone built cottage. Stable doors are a popular choice in rural and traditional farm stead style properties, here at H&C we are familiar with making these, as they can be a little trickier to both draught proof and install secure locking systems, but rest assured this is something we can easily achieve.

We replicated the existing timber stable door within the property and supplied this new door with an insulated fixed lower panel and an opening top section which suited the clients internal layout.

The door was manufactured from Accoya with a Tricoya panel, ensuring it will remain in perfect condition for years to come. Fully factory finished using high performance joinery coating system from  Ankey-Stuy and finished with a high quality antique black handle and ironmongery.
